ITINERARY
Day 01 : Makassar
Welcome service at Hasanuddin Airport of Makassar and transfer into the town of Makassar, check in at Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 : Makassar – Toraja (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, departure for Toraja. The scenic drive follows the coast to Pare Pare, where we stop for lunch, and then turns inland and up the mountains. In the afternoon coffee stop at Bambapuang overlooking a spectacular Mountain panoramic views. Late afternoon arrival in Toraja. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 : Toraja (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, a full-day sightseeing to see the cliff-side stone graves at Lemo, on to Sangalla village to visit Baby Grave at Sarapung village. Lunch will be served at local restaurant in Rantepao. In the afternoon visit the natural burial cave at Londa and a traditional woodcarving village at Kete Kesu. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 : Toraja (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, depart for another full-day tour that includes visits to Palawa, Toraja’s oldest village, with buffalo horns in front of the houses; Afterwards on to Sa’dan Sangkombong to see traditional torajan weaving by the local women. Drive to Batutumonga from where we overlooking the panoramic view and a breathtaking view over Rantepao and surrounding valley, arrived in Batutumonga enjoy a soft trekking or hiking (depending of the age of clients) to remote village to interact with the communities and look the daily Torajan life activity. passing through the village, en-route to see rice terrace, Bamboo forest, Typical Torajan House, tropical coffee trees owned by local torajan people and if possible we can walk beside or nearby the rice fields. Back to Rantepao for having Lunch at local restaurant where will be served Traditional Torajan food. Continue to visit Bori to see the megalith stones. Before back to Hotel we will be stop at the Shopping Center in Rantepao. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : Toraja – Makassar (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, departure from Hotel in Rantepao area and transfer back to Makassar. Lunch in Pare Pare. Then we proceed directly to the airport for the onward flight.
