Early morning pick up at hotel and transfer to Sanur harbor. Take a 30-minute speedboat ride from Sanur Beach to cross Badung strait to Nusa Penida Island. Explore the island’s rocky west coast in one day.
On arrival Nusa Penida, start the day with a visit to an unusual temple called Pura Paluang – often called the “Car Temple” by travelers. You will see car shaped shrines. Walk up to the edge of Paluang Cliff that offers a wonderful view of a green arm extending out into the ocean.
Then go to Kelingking Cliff or Kelingking Secret Point. The limestone cliff covered in lush green resembles a T-Rex shape and hides a beautiful beach 400 meters below. The beach is a great spot for diving to see mantas.
Continue to visit Broken Beach or Pasih Uug, a scenic cove on the southwestern edge of Nusa Penida. The spot is marked by a hilly rock archway that wraps around the bay allowing water to flow in and out from the ocean. The bay is filled with turquoise water from the ocean through a hole in a cliff.
Not so far from Broken Beach there is Angel’s Billabong, a natural pool of sharp volcanic rock, into which the powerful waves are crashing during high tide and which is flat as a mirror during low tide. Angel’s Billabong is the final estuary of the river that flows on Nusa Penida Island.
The last visit for today is Crystal Bay, which looks incredible in the afternoon because visitors can see crystal clear water and sunset. You can enjoy some relaxing time by the beautiful sandy beach while enjoying the spectacular panorama.
In the late afternoon, return to the jetty for a transfer back to Bali with a fast boat, scheduled to depart at 16.30 pm.
